Role Description

As the Email & Data Marketing Coordinator. you will manage email marketing campaigns and firstparty data ensuring audience growth and engagement across our festival brands. You will play a key role in optimizing CRM strategies supporting digital advertising with firstparty data and maintaining GDPR compliance.

This role is vital in shaping how we engage festival audiences ensuring effective email campaigns and leveraging data for marketing success.

What the role includes

Email Marketing & Campaign Management

  • Plan build and execute email marketing campaigns for all festivals.
  • Ensure email content is aligned with brand guidelines and festival marketing objectives.
  • Oversee segmentation audience targeting and automation workflows.
  • Optimize email performance through A/B testing and performance tracking.
  • Monitor deliverability list hygiene and email compliance with GDPR regulations.

FirstParty Data Management for Digital Advertising

  • Oversee collection organization and segmentation of firstparty data for use in digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with the marketing managers to integrate CRM data into paid social and programmatic campaigns.
  • Maintain audience lists for retargeting lookalike modeling and custom audience creation.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance in all data collection storage and usage practices.
  • Work with external platforms (Facebook Ads Manager Google Ads etc. to facilitate data uploads.

Audience Growth & Data Strategy

  • Develop strategies to increase and optimize firstparty data collection through email and signups.
  • Manage and optimize data capture points on festival websites.
  • Support loyalty programs and audience engagement initiatives with data insights.
  • Track user behaviours and trends to improve data utilization in marketing campaigns.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the wider marketing team to align email strategies with overall festival campaigns.
  • Assist in customer feedback initiatives including survey creation and distribution.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Generate regular reports to assess email and data performance.
  • Analyse audience insights to refine email and digital advertising strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing managers to adjust datadriven campaigns based on performance.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all email marketing activities and data management comply with GDPR and data protection regulations.
  • Stay up to date with marketing trends tools and industry best practices.

  • Email Marketing: Mailchimp (primary ESP) segmentation tools
  • Analytics & Reporting: Google Analytics internal CRM reports
  • Advertising Platforms: Meta Ads Manager Google Ads programmatic platforms

  • Compliance: GDPR adherence tools consent management systems
