Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Information Manager to join our site-based project team in Avonmouth. Reporting to the Project Leader or Regional Digital Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the management and structure of project-related information, ensuring consistency and compliance across digital systems and documentation. This role is vital in supporting collaborative working, promoting best practices in information management, and ensuring control and traceability from project initiation through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

People



Provide training and support to project teams and supply chain members on information management tools (e.g. Asite).

*

Act as the primary point of contact on site for all project information management matters.

*

Collaborate with the Regional Digital Delivery Manager to implement effective systems and protocols.

*

Ensure compliance with established information management procedures.

*

Manage user access and permissions within the Common Data Environment (CDE).

Process

*

Draft and maintain the Information Management Protocol (IMP).

*

Define and oversee information storage and sharing processes in alignment with the Information Management Register (IMR), TIDP, and MIDP.

*

Manage document control processes, including naming conventions, workflow initiation, and document checks.

*

Monitor submission performance and coordinate review processes to ensure deadlines are met.

*

Generate reports and data analytics to support project delivery and performance monitoring.

*

Provide feedback for continuous improvement to regional and central digital teams.

Technology

*

Assist with project-level setup and ongoing maintenance of the CDE (Asite), ensuring alignment with group standards.

*

Support implementation and use of other digital tools such as BIM software (Navisworks, Dalux, Bimcollab, etc.) and document management platforms.

Key Relationships

Internal: Project team members including Project Managers, Design Managers, Building Services Managers, BIM Managers, and Document Controllers.
External: Client teams, subcontractors, Commercial and Planning Managers, and Bid Managers.

Essential Skills & Attributes

*

Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Organised, proactive, and resilient with the ability to prioritise tasks.

*

Technically competent with good knowledge of IT systems and project delivery tools.

*

Confident working across all project levels from client-side to site operations.

Desirable Knowledge & Experience

*

Main contractor experience, ideally within a Tier 1 contractor.

*

Site-based construction experience.

*

Experience with ASITE (admin/user level).

*

Practical application of ISO19650 and PAS 8672 standards.

*

Knowledge of primary contract types and document protocols.

Qualifications & Certifications

*

Valid CSCS Card

*

Understanding of BS EN ISO 19650 Parts 1 & 2

*

Familiarity with PAS 8672

IT/Software Skills

*

Web-based document management systems (Asite, 4Projects, Aconex, etc.)

*

BIM tools (Navisworks, Dalux, etc.)

*

Microsoft Office 365

Additional Requirements

*
