The Role


As an Enterprise Data Architect you will be working closely with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and drive the architectural vision for the Data platform. This role requires a deep understanding of modern data architectures, cloud technologies, and AI/ML frameworks with hands-on expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and Azure AI/ML services.


Key responsibilities:


  • Architect & Design: Define and evolve the Data platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness
  • Data Strategy & Governance: Collaborate with the CDO to shape data strategy, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Cloud & AI/ML Initiatives: Lead Azure AI/ML adoption, integrating advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities
  • Modern Data Stack: Oversee the implementation of Snowflake, dbt, and other data processing frameworks for optimal performance
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior leadership, data engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align technology with business objectives
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay ahead of emerging trends in data engineering, AI/ML, and cloud computing, ensuring industry best practices


Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:


  • Experience in Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Platforms
  • Proven expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and Azure AI/ML
  • Strong background in data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing
  • Experience designing scalable, event-driven, and serverless architectures
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on coding experience with SQL, Python, Spark, or similar technologies
  • Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment with highly distributed data ecosystems


Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:


  • Azure/AWS Certified Architect or Snowflake Data Architect certification
  • Experience in CDO-led initiatives, data democratization, and AI-driven transformation
  • Understanding of GenAI and LLM applications in enterprise data solutions
