What you’ll do


  • Set the direction– Shape and lead a company-wide data strategy that supports growth, efficiency and customer experience.
  • Connect the dots– Work with commercial, supply-chain, finance and tech teams to understand their goals, surface data gaps and spot high-value opportunities.
  • Build the roadmap– Prioritise initiatives, create a clear pipeline and secure sponsorship for the projects that will deliver the biggest impact.
  • Cut through the noise– Explain complex data issues in plain English and champion pragmatic solutions that colleagues can actually use.
  • Raise the bar– Agree principles for data quality, governance and tooling, and help embed them across the organisation.


What you’ll bring

  • A track record of shaping data, transformation or planning programmes in a large, complex business.
  • First-hand experience partnering with IT, finance and multiple business units to drive change.
  • Sound grasp of common enterprise data challenges (access, quality, adoption) and the ability to turn them into actionable plans.
  • Credibility with senior stakeholders and the confidence to operate as a “team of one” while the function scales.
