The Opportunity – Data Quality Analyst


We have a great opportunity to join our team at Solent as a Data Quality Analyst. This newly created role will support the Data Analyst and the wider business to enhance the overall quality and usability of the data available which supports the company’s long-term objectives and decision-making processes.


This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of Solent’s data assets. You will be responsible for conducting thorough data cleansing activities, identifying and rectifying data inconsistencies, and implementing processes to maintain high-quality data standards.


To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in a similar fast paced role, have advanced Excel skills and a passion for all things data!


Key Responsibilities


  • Update and manage data within our ERP System (SAP B1)
  • Perform bulk uploads/data corrections and data cleansing
  • Manage the end-to-end process of checking, preparing, and uploading data
  • Implement data validation, integrity, and quality assurance measures to ensure system data is accurate and reliable whilst ensuring an audit trail is maintained
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to understand both user and business needs



About You


  • Previous experience managing datasets and a basic understanding of database management systems (desirable)
  • General knowledge of ERP Systems (Preferably SAP) Advanced Excel (Essential) and PowerQuery
  • Basic understanding of Database Management Systems (Desirable)
  • High level communication skills to work well with stakeholders across the business
  • Well organised and detail oriented with the ability to offer ideas around streamlining and improving processes
