Overview:
We’re partnering with a cutting-edge organisation at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and life sciences to find an experienced Data Governance Lead. This role is a unique opportunity to shape governance strategy for clinical and research data in a mission-driven environment focused on global health and innovation.
The Opportunity:
You’ll work within a cross-functional environment alongside AI, Clinical, and IT teams to ensure robust data governance across a growing platform handling highly sensitive clinical, pharmaceutical, and research data. The organisation is scaling rapidly and is building a major new research and innovation campus in Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
Ensure regulatory adherence (GDPR, HIPAA) across complex data pipelines.
Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and researchers to embed data best practices.
Lead governance for data partnerships with global healthcare and pharma organisations.
Ensure auditability and ethical data use across AI and clinical environments.
Proven experience in healthcare or clinical data environments.
Deep understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and healthcare-grade compliance.
Experience with data governance, audit, and privacy frameworks.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-scaling, multidisciplinary team.
