Job Description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning Data & AI boutique consultancy which continues to scale. This firm has won multiple awards both for innovation in the AI space, as for it's culture and working environment.
They are looking for a senior individual to lead their Data Governance proposition. This person will shape the future of data governance by working with clients to define and implement strategies that drive real business impact. It will involve leading initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, and guiding people on how to do data governance right.
Key responsibilities will include;
Engage stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure alignment with strategic goals
Establish data governance frameworks to maintain quality, security, and compliance
Lead and mentor teams in delivering data-driven initiatives effectively.
Shape and develop commercial propositions to acquire new business opportunities, applying business acumen to craft compelling proposals.
The ideal candidate will come from a data governance consulting background, and have world-class stakeholder management skills. You will also need very strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills and be able to identify and address complex data challenges, designing practical, scalable solutions that create value. The firm is also seen as one of the market leader in the AI space, so candidates will need an ability to link data and AI strategy to revenue, cost or risk outcomes
From a data governance perspective you will need to have deep expertise of the management of master data, analytical master data, metadata, and data lineage.
Exposure to consumer goods would be bonus for the role, but exposure to other comparable industries such as energy, life sciences and retail will be considered.
This person can be based anywhere in the UK, but being able to get into London semi-regularly for client workshops etc would be required. There would also times when all the team get together, but likely only once a quarter.
