Now we are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join our Security Team.

What You Will Be Doing:


  • Data Flow Mapping & Visualization:Identify, document, and maintain up-to-date visualizations of data flows across systems and departments — including personal, sensitive, and business-critical data.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:Partner with Legal, Product, Security, and Data Engineering teams to understand data use cases, align on data handling practices, and enforce clear ownership.
  • Governance Framework Development:Define and implement scalable data governance policies and processes that align with international privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Compliance & Audit Support:Support regulatory audits and internal reviews by providing clear documentation and evidence of compliant data practices and flows.
  • Risk Identification & Mitigation:Proactively identify potential data risks and inefficiencies; recommend controls or improvements based on impact and feasibility.
  • Stakeholder Enablement: Act as the go-to expert for data classification, usage permissions, and retention policies; educate teams on best practices and governance responsibilities.



About You:


Experience:5+ years in data governance, privacy, data protection, or related roles in technology-driven environments.
Experience working in cross-functional environments (Legal, Product, Security).
Exposure to privacy-by-design and data minimization strategies.
Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or relevant data governance credentials.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

Solid understanding of data architecture, metadata management, and data lineage tools.
Hands-on experience with data visualization.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and audit processes (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to translate technical risks into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Strong collaboration and presentation skills.
Knowledge of analytics/development tools.
