Data Governance Analyst
London, Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst to join a data management function at a leading banking organization. This role is critical in supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of data governance standards and practices, with a particular focus on regulatory and bureau reporting obligations.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for defining and documenting data provisioning requirements, establishing and monitoring data quality controls, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and compliant data products. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, technical expertise, and an understanding of regulatory data frameworks.

Requirements
Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and regulatory reporting.
Strong understanding of metadata management and data documentation.
Proficiency in data analysis, profiling, and cleansing.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau) and data preparation platforms (e.g., Alteryx, SQL).
Experience in documenting data lineage using BCBS 239 principles.
Understanding of Irish Central Credit Register (CCR) reporting or similar jurisdictional bureau reporting.
DAMA certification or equivalent data governance qualifications.
