An opportunity for a Data Governance Analyst / Data Protection Analyst to join a growing business who are investing in their Data and Information security.

The business has grown consistently over the last few years, so the business needs to bolster their Data Security and GDPR resources. This person would be responsible for data governance, data protection and relevant regulations for the business as part of an IT security team.

It is an essential requirement for this person to have previous commercial experience in Data Security, Data Protection, Data Risk, or a similar role.

The role is best suited to candidates with 2 years+ relevant experience and Junior candidates will be considered at the associated salary level.

Core requirements:

  • Play a hands-on role in conducting data compliance and protection tasks
  • Experience of being the point of contact for any data incidents or breaches
  • Implement data privacy practices across all departments to Tech and Non-Tech stakeholders
  • Identify potential Data Risks based on current processes
  • Reporting compliance with data protection laws and relevant security controls
  • Maintain data processing records and relevant documentation

Other:

  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Commercial experience with ISO27701, IAPP or similar
