Data Governance Analyst – Day Rate Opportunity (Inside Ir35)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Data Governance Analyst to support the implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide data governance initiatives.

Working closely with the Data Governance Lead, you will help ensure data quality and consistency while supporting Master Data Management (MDM) programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures
• Assist in metadata management and data cataloguing initiatives
• Help maintain data quality standards within the MDM program
• Collaborate with data owners and stewards to address quality issues
• Support training initiatives on data governance principles
• Monitor compliance with governance policies and procedures

Essential Experience & Skills:

• 2-5 years' experience in data management and governance
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices
• Experience in data quality management and protection
• Familiarity with metadata management and MDM tools
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Strong SQL skills and database management experience
• Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and Power BI
• Experience with Azure Purview and Profisee MDM
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Databricks and Data Factory
