Location: Leeds (Remote or Hybrid options available)

Data is king for this company and with their rapid growth they need a dedicated Data Engineer to harness what they have. This is a key moment in their trajectory and they’re investing heavily in turning their data into actionable/commercial insights. You’ll play a crucial role in this expansion, working directly with the Head of Tech to get the team off the ground.

You’ll be helping to implement Snowflake, build ETL pipelines, ensure data quality, and keep an eye on AI/ML advancements in the ecommerce space. This role would suit a mid-level or senior Data Engineer who wants to push forward this company’s data capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Tech to establish and scale data capabilities.
  • Implement Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
  • Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across data sources.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting (e.g., PowerBI) to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Monitor and explore AI/ML opportunities relevant to ecommerce data.
Qualifications
  • Data Lake / Data Warehousing experience.
  • Experience with dashboards (PowerBI).
  • Experience in ecommerce environments and with NetSuite and/or Shopify.
  • SQL proficiency.
