About the team:
The Data Office Delivery team act as the route into the Data Office for new work ensuring the work is initiated using the correct delivery channel. The team coordinates and manages the delivery of some of this work based on the delivery approach agreed, in doing so the team work with the Data Architects, Data Engineers and Testers to enable the Data Office to deliver high quality data solutions to the OSB Group business. In addition, the team are responsible for managing the high-level resource allocation and planning across the Data Office and providing Data Office reporting.

What you will be doing:
In this role, you will have delivery responsibility for pieces of Data Office work while also having a wider role of assisting the Senior Data Delivery Manager in ensuring that Data Office resources are managed against demand across the data teams.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Leading the delivery of data office work using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Undertaking Data Office resource planning and allocation covering all aspects of the Data Office
- Liaising with the Change Delivery teams to ensure that current and future plans are deliverable from a Data Office viewpoint and then ensuring resources are allocated to these plans accordingly.
- During delivery ensuring Data Office delivery timelines are adhered to, delivery risks are managed and any blocking delivery issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Proactively managing stakeholders up to Director level for parties working with the Data Office
- Forging effective working relationships with the wider IT team, Change Delivery and other business areas to aid the delivery of data solutions
- Representing the Data Office in senior forums and discussions such as Steering Groups and Project/Change boards
- Deriving and providing reporting covering Data Office work and performance
- Travelling occasionally between the Wolverhampton, London and Chatham offices as required
In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £60,000 - £73,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
