Are you a skilled Data Delivery Manager with a passion for making a difference? Our client, a leading UK charity, is seeking an experienced professional to drive their data initiatives, ensuring impactful results aligned with their mission.
The Role:
As a Data Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in enhancing the charity’s use of data technology. You will work closely with various teams to prioritize and deliver key projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the day-to-day operations of data teams, ensuring motivation and collaboration. Identifying and overcoming obstacles to maintain project momentum. Coaching and mentoring team members in Agile and Lean methodologies. Facilitating regular planning meetings to prioritize valuable work items. Reporting on progress and creating digestible summaries for stakeholders. Introducing new ceremonies and continuously improving team processes. Networking with external organizations to stay updated on trends and techniques.
Key Relationships:
Report to the Associate Head of Portfolio and Associate Head of Data Engineering. Collaborate with colleagues in the Data and Analytics hub and Information Services. Engage with business stakeholders to meet their priorities and expectations.
About You:
Our client is looking for someone with:
Proven experience as a delivery manager or similar role. Expertise in working with technical teams and using tools like Jira. Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Ability to generate metrics and assess team productivity. History of creating high-performing teams through effective delivery strategies. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Initiative and creativity in problem-solving and implementing ideas.
