Job Description Join us as a Data Analytics &Business Controls Partner - You’ll be supporting and overseeing theData & Analytics (D&A) function in embedding the Data andAI strategy across the bank through applying effective riskmanagement and decision-making capability, anticipating andassessing the potential impacts of data and AI related risk acrossthe bank - We’ll look to you to make sure the impacts of Data andAI strategic initiatives on the operational risk and controlprofile are evaluated, managed and mitigated - Enjoy a greatplatform to build your leadership profile as you shape a highperforming and vibrant team culture What you'll do In this keyrole, you’ll provide subject matter expertise (SME) on Data and AIrisks and controls, including technology along with overseeingrelevant Change Programmes that support the delivery and embeddingof the Data and AI strategy. We’ll look to you to provide supportand guidance on Data and AI related Control Frameworks, ControlDesign and Articulation, Control Testing and Policy Compliance,including Controls to manage Models, Technology and Change. To dothis, you’ll be working closely with the Control Testing team,Franchise & Function Control teams and second line Risk.Additionally, you’ll: - Manage stakeholder relationships across theD&A function and support them with managing their risk andcontrol profile - Produce corporate governance and risk committeematerial and MI, formulating and articulating risk appetite usingthe operational risk framework and material risk measures includingData Quality and an aggregated view of the control environment -Manage the completion of and provide support as an SME on D&Aowned risk and control assessments in line with the risk frameworkfor the relevant business areas within D&A, including DataManagement and Bank of APIs - Support and regularly engage withData and AI specialist stakeholders including second and third lineof defence - Create a culture of continuous improvement to supportthe bank’s Data and AI strategy, increasing efficiency andproductivity through great people leadership, coaching, engagementand development of skills The skills you'll need We’re looking fora highly skilled individual with experience of data related riskand control assessments in an operational and strategic context,preferably in AI and Technology related assessments. You’ll have acomprehensive experience in producing corporate governance and riskcommittees packs, including management of Data risk, formulatingand articulating risk and controls using an operational riskframework and material risk measures. You’ll also have: - A strongunderstanding of Data risk and associated industry standards andframeworks such as BCBS239 - Knowledge of data, models, technology,change and AI related risks and controls and industry frameworks,including knowledge of risks associated with AI, Generative AI,Automation and Outsourcing - The ability to deliver high qualityoutcomes and communicate complex ideas and solutions to supportmanagement of data and AI risks in a fast-paced environment wherepriorities shift rapidly
