Level 3 Diploma in Data Analytics

from our specialist training provider.
About the Role
Start Date:

Autumn 2025 (Exact Date TBC).
Location:

Hybrid (minimum 2 days a week in-office and 1 day in person learning with our training provider). All in-person work and learning will take place in central Cardiff.
Structure:

4 days working + 1 day learning with a specialist provider.
Hours:

37.5 hours a week (including training).
Programme Length:

18 months. From day one, you’ll have access to the same support and opportunities as the rest of our community.

What You’ll Do
You’ll spend four days a week working as an Associate Data Analyst – solving real business problems through data analysis and getting hands on with code (SQL). You’ll uncover insights, spot trends, and shape decisions that influence the future of our FTSE 100 company.
On the fifth day, you’ll attend sessions with our specialist training provider to build your knowledge and work towards your diploma.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for people who enjoy solving problems, have a mathematical or analytical mindset, and are studying (or have studied) a STEM subject at A-Level (or equivalent).
You don’t need any previous work experience in data or tech. If you’re naturally curious, eager to learn and ready to tackle a challenge head on, we’d love to hear from you.
You don’t need any specific work experience to apply - just to meet the following requirements:
Predicted or achieved ‘B’ grade in at least one STEM A-Level (or equivalent) by September 2025.
5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C), including English and Maths.
You don’t currently hold a degree.
Some experience of working with data or numbers in a classroom setting (A-Level or equivalent).
What Happens Next
If your application is successful, here’s what to expect:
Online Maths Test

– You’ll be invited to complete a maths test to help us understand your ability in these areas.
Pre screen call - This is an informal phone conversation arranged with our Recruitment team to introduce ourselves and learn more about you.
Assessment Centre (In Person – Cardiff)

– If your application and test results stand out, you’ll be invited to our assessment centre. Here you’ll take part in a group task in the morning, meet the team and get a feel for what it’s like to work here. In the afternoon, you’ll take part in a short interview.
Final Interview (Virtual)

– If successful at the assessment centre and first stage interview, you’ll be invited to a short final interview with our hiring manager.
