Are you an experienced apprenticeship coach or trainer with a passion for helping learners thrive in the world of data? We're looking for someone who’s delivered apprenticeship programmes before and understands how to guide learners from day one to End Point Assessment.

This role isn’t for a practising data analyst — it’s for someone who knows how to teach, coach, and support apprentices through structured programmes, combining technical knowledge with effective learning delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver and coach learners on the Data Analyst apprenticeship standard

*

Provide regular 1:1 coaching, remote group sessions, and personalised learning support

*

Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessments with mock interviews, project feedback, and guidance

*

Support learners with developing skills in data analysis, visualisation, stats, reporting & more

*

Work closely with employers to align learning with job roles and performance goals

*

Embed core topics like Maths, English, Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values in delivery

*

Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with Ofsted, ESFA and internal processes

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience delivering or coaching apprenticeship programmes (ideally in data, digital or tech)
Strong coaching, teaching, or training background – you know how to engage and stretch learners
A recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 – working towards Level 4 or above preferred)
Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent)
Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths
Familiarity with platforms like Aptem, OneFile, or PICS (nice to have but not essential)

What’s in It for You:

Remote-first role (only 4 in-office days per year)
Help shape the next generation of data talent in a growing sector
Ongoing CPD and clear progression pathways
Join a supportive, learner-focused team that really cares about outcomes

If you’ve delivered apprenticeship programmes before and want to support learners in data analytics, we’d love to hear from you.

Pre-Employment Checks for Data Science Jobs: DBS, References & Right-to-Work and more Explained

Pre-employment screening in data science reflects the discipline's unique position at the intersection of statistical analysis, machine learning innovation, and strategic business intelligence. Data scientists often have privileged access to comprehensive datasets, proprietary algorithms, and business-critical insights that form the foundation of organisational strategy and competitive positioning. The data science industry operates within complex regulatory frameworks spanning GDPR, sector-specific data protection requirements, and emerging AI governance regulations. Data scientists must demonstrate not only technical competence in statistical modelling and machine learning but also deep understanding of research ethics, data privacy principles, and the societal implications of algorithmic decision-making. Modern data science roles frequently involve analysing personally identifiable information, financial data, healthcare records, and sensitive business intelligence across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks simultaneously. The combination of analytical privilege, predictive capabilities, and strategic influence makes thorough candidate verification essential for maintaining compliance, security, and public trust in data-driven insights and automated systems.
