The organisation currently operates the Liquidlogic LCS and EHM within its Children’s Social Care Directorate and therefore has some internal expertise, however we are looking to appoint a Data Analytics and Report Writer to join the Education System Implementation Programme Team. Working closely with the supplier, Liquidlogic/SystemC, the Education System users and CCC’s Policy and Insight Team, the post holder will be required to support with data analysis and report creation.The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets to support decision-making processes and creating comprehensive reports that convey actionable insights. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preparation Phase:Source the relevant in-house report and dashboard requirements.Work with the teams on how reports are to be utilised in the new system.Work with supplier configuration team on system pathways, design and how data will flow between system pathways.Design reports and documents for new system.Determine what reports will be used within the System and which BI reports/dashboards are requiredDesign Phase:Attend/review recordings of the configuration workshops, review configuration documentation and feedback to Project Manager and Education OperationalLeadUndertake the configuration of new reports and dashboards for new system on behalf of the authority.Support Testing and data migration outputs with any managed changes and configuration to the system.Prepare data extracts to support BI reporting and Dashboards required by the business.Implementation Phase:Working with the Business Services Support team to support with training scope for reporting and use of BI Dashboard which will include:Support with training scope and learning objectives for reports created.Support with building user guides and factsheets.Support with reporting queries and resolving issues.Skills:Must be familiar with Liquidlogic applications (EYES, Portals, LCS and EHM and ContrOCC)Must be familiar with report design and the creation of BI Dashboard design.Must be good at communicating to different stakeholder groups to scope, design, build and test solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.Conduct data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and summaries of analysis results for stakeholders at all levels.Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions based on data analysis.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.Experience:Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Report Writer, or similar role.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence systems isa plus.If you are interested in the role, we encourage you to apply.
