The role

LoanTube is at the heart of the UK consumer credit ecosystem, connecting customers with lender offers tailored to their unique individual needs. Our success is built on a robust network of ecosystem partnerships with lenders and other key players.

 

You will stay attuned to the pulse of our marketplace, overseeing daily performance, maximising value, and driving growth through cross-functional collaboration with the wider LoanTube team, while fostering and expanding our commercial partnerships.


What you’ll do

  • Partnerships Management.You will be the external face of LoanTube, building relationships, reviewing and improving trading performance, pushing forward intercompany strategic projects and leading commercial and contract negotiations.
  • New Partnership Development.You will proactively research and contact prospective partners across the ecosystem, ‘selling’ them on partnering with LoanTube and managing the full lifecycle of bringing a new partnership to life.
  • Trading Performance Responsibility.You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on commercial performance of the B2C marketplace, working closely with the data team to have accurate and timely insights.
  • Commercial Action Plans.You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities that fix performance issues and drive long-term success for each partnership, and the marketplace as a whole.
  • Strategic Projects.You will bring commercial acumen into existing and new strategic projects, working cross functionally on bringing exciting stuff to life and monetising it.

 

Who you are

  • Prior experience in UK consumer FinTech, ideally credit focused. This is a broad role, requiring an in-depth understanding of UK consumer credit. You should haveat least 3 yearsof hands-on, execution-driven experience in this space.
  • Strong commercial fundamentals.You are an expert in funnels, unit economics and can distinguish performance drivers from lagging indicators. 
  • Speak the language of data.Proficient in Excel, able to translate real-life business goals into data questions and work with our data analysts on advanced analysis.
  • Excellent communicator.A big part of your role will be to manage relationships and influence external and internal stakeholders. You should genuinely enjoy building long lasting relationships with people.
  • Confident negotiator.You’ll often need to put your negotiator hat on, and be confident and creative to get deals done.
  • Generalist. You don’t need to be an expert in everything, just willing to roll up your sleeves and figure Sh*it out to achieve our strategic business goals.
