Learn more athttps://www.jnj.comPurpose of the role As the Business Intelligence & SFE Manager you will be responsible for shaping and executing the data analytics, business insights & SFE strategy and vision for the Johnson & Johnson MedTech UK & Ireland business with the core objective of driving commercial growth. You will have strong commercial acumen and be proficient in data storytelling, you will utilise these skills coupled together to provide actionable data insights to all layers of the organisation to drive commercial decisions which maximise growth. You will lead a high performing analytics team to shape and build current and future technical capabilities which aid data driven strategic decision making and supports business growth across all franchises. You will be accountable for data integrity to support business planning, forecasting and reporting, and you will lead your team to implement agile analytics which meet the evolving needs of the business and helps drive and measure effectiveness of the overall UKI business strategy You will constantly strive to challenge the status quo, continuously reviewing and improving data capabilities. You will work each day with multifunctional teams including MedTech Leadership Team, Franchise Leadership Teams, Sales and Marketing, Service & Solutions, IT, Finance and Supply Chain as well as EMEA regional colleagues and will get a fantastic insight into how Johnson & Johnson works. You will lead a high performing team to continue to focus on excellence in execution, and you will make your mark as you support the business to further evolve data capabilities and data driven decision making. What to Expect Through regular engagement with the Med Tech, Franchise & Strategic Capabilities Leadership Teams you and your team will be responsible for:- • Providing actionable business & market insights to the business that maximise commercial opportunities • Shaping & Executing the data analytics strategy and vision for JJMT UKI • Shaping & Executing the SFE strategy for the business • Leading the Reward & Recognition workstream (commission) for the business • Shaping technical data capabilities • Accountability for driving integrity and accuracy of data • Leading the development, prioritisation and deployment of innovative new data capabilities, dashboarding suites, business tools and processes. • Lead a team of data analysts providing business analysis, establishing solutions, and generating insights across the following areas - you and your team are responsible for • Development and maintenance of BI and sales data platforms. • New technology and solutions development. • Country sales and SFE performance reporting. • Commercial & financial modelling. • Business planning/forecasting. • New business win analysis. • Agile analytics. • Advanced data analytics, visualisation and dashboards. • Sales commission and accrual calculation management. • Price volume mix analysis. • Segmentation analysis. • System data integrity and technical issue resolution. • Master data governance. • Continuous process improvement and project management. • Salesforce CRM management. • Third party sales management • Transformation of raw data into meaningful business information. Who will you be working with: Reporting into the Strategic Capabilities Leader, you will work closely with the following people: • JJMT leadership team • Business Unit Directors (Franchise Leadership Teams) • Franchise marketing teams • Franchise Commex • Customer Service • CFGO / I2C • IT • Finance • Strat Cap LT (particularly Service & Solutions leadership) • Wider JJMT organisation • EMEA data & systems teams Who are we looking for: To excel in this role, you will have a proven track record of success within your previous and current roles. You will have strong commercial acumen, be intellectually curious, with a commitment for continuous improvement. You will have demonstrable success in shaping data strategies (including business insights, market insights & SFE) that have driven results, you will have a proven ability in complex project management, you will have experience as a people leader and you will be passionate about people and people development You will have demonstrated the following key skills:- • You will have strong commercial acumen (P&L experience preferred but not essential) • You will be proficient in data storytelling • You will be experienced at dealing with senior executives • You will have proven examples of how your data strategy has accelerated commercial strategy • You will be an experienced people leader • You will have BI and SFE subject matter expertise • Advanced MS Power BI experience. • Advanced knowledge of Oneforce & Deal Platform • Excellent MS Excel skills capable of efficiently manipulating large sets of data and producing a suite of reports. • Highly numerate with strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving ability. • Must be motivated and self-driven; able to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and requirements including messaging to senior executives • Attention to detail. • Strong time management & organisational skills. • Ability to prioritise work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines. • Growth/high performance mindset. • Degree qualified desirable.
