Due to the continued growth and development of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Data Analyst to join our newly defined clinical division.
The role
As Clinical Data Analyst , you will work closely with Clinical Trials Specialists, Engineers, Researchers, and Commercial teams to support clinical trials and internal R&D initiatives, converting complex datasets into meaningful insights.
You will directly support product innovation, validation, and the development of patient-focused solutions that improve quality of life.
Using modern data tools and techniques to transform, shape and model structured and unstructured data to support useful data insights and analytics
Collect, clean and analyse clinical and performance data from gait lab assessments and prosthetic/orthotic devices as part of product trials and internal research studies.
Using machine learning tools and statistical techniques to provide novel solutions to problems.
Providing expertise in the creation of algorithms and machine learning models to support clinician use cases and improve clinical outcomes for patients
Exploring and investigating potential sources of data.
Designing and iterating potential analytics strategies and methods to better understand behaviours, patterns and effects from available data
Visualising and present findings in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical teams.
Contributing to scientific publications, whitepapers, and conference presentations.
Ensuring data handling is compliant with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 14155).
Supporting internal product validation processes through robust statistical analysis.
Participating in risk analysis and usability assessments where relevant.
Writing documents and reports to provide insights and information to key stakeholders
Applying appropriate controls on the access and use of data to adhere to GDPR and other patient data protection requirements

What are we looking for?
BSc in Data Science/Biostatistics/Biomedical Engineering/Biomechanics
Proven experience working with structured and unstructured data.
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, R, SQL or similar data analysis languages.
Experience working with biomechanical or wearable data (e.g., gait analysis).
Experience working within cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Clear, structured documentation and reporting skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Passionate about using data to drive patient-centred outcomes.
