Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking a proactive, motivated individual to join our team for a varied and hands-on role.

The role:

The role involves working closely as part of a team in the global telecoms and electronics sectors. You will provide remote client support by managing and overseeing the international administration of supplier sustainability audit processes and provide reporting. This is an administration and customer liaison role - no experience of the audit process is required although experience in data analysis is essential.

We are looking for a flexible, motivated individual who is a real team player, to work in and develop within, our existing specialist operations support team. The successful candidate will work with our IT group to transform and support technology to enable our delivery business processes.

After appropriate training, you will become a key team player in the Operations Team (a team of four), dealing with an alliance of our UK and international telecommunications sector clients, as well as their global supply chains. The role has 2 main elements: Customer Service and Data Analysis.

In the role you will:

  • Liaise with senior management clients and their suppliers and auditors, both verbally and written, as required
  • Liaise on the processes around audits e.g., how to use the audit platform and data analysis (a detailed technical understanding of what is involved within audits is not required; external auditors provide this expertise). Full training on the audit platform will also be given
  • To provide analysis and reporting as required
  • Operate our systems (full training will be provided) to help oversee the supplier audit process operation
  • Troubleshoot when required
  • Attend and contribute to team member twice weekly calls and agenda
  • Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required, which may include minute-taking for meetings
  • Support with emerging business initiatives
  • Liaise with senior management clients and their suppliers and auditors, both verbally and written, as required
  • Work as part of the operational team utilising our systems and processes that oversee the supplier audit process operations globally
  • Work with the team to co-ordinate our operational services delivery to our clients, their suppliers and auditors
  • Liaise with our clients at senior management level and our IT group on MI, data and systems design and delivery
  • Liaising with our IT and systems team, who are transforming and automating processes and reporting requires report running on our systems and manipulation in Microsoft Excel.

The ideal person would have:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in customer service in a corporate and supply chain management environment (Involvement in sustainability best practice in business an advantage).
  • Excellent data analysis skills working to provide MI
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent spreadsheet and data analysis skills – particularly Microsoft Excel (e.g. knowledge of complex formula, use of pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with PowerPoint and other related software
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Client facing and back-office management experience is an advantage

Working arrangement

The role is predominately homebased with occasional travel for team/management interaction.

The part time role requires flexible working windows, which would need to be spread over 5 days to meet customer demands. It is a minimum 20 hours per week with occasional additional paid overtime. 

Future opportunities may exist for those wishing to participate and develop skills in strategic consulting and analysis around best practice in global sustainability initiatives, as new projects are launched.



Remuneration

Salary: £16,640 (FTE £31,200)
