Define and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goalsRepresent technical strategy at the board level, contributing to business growth and scalabilityDrive innovation within the technical team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellenceTeam and Process Management

Lead a team of 30+ engineers, directly managing 8 team leads and project managersOptimise team performance and output through effective leadership and mentorshipImplement best practices in agile methodologies, SDLC, and quality assuranceSystem Development and Optimisation

Oversee the design, development, and deployment of algorithmic modelling and trading systemsBuild and refine low-latency, scalable data engineering pipelines for handling large datasets in real timeDrive hands-on architectural decisions and mentor teams in Python-based developmentOperational Excellence

Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to maximise efficiencyIdentify and address technical debt, ensuring continuous improvement of existing systemsReport on the strengths and weaknesses of the current tech stack and implement key recommendationsRequirementsEssential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience leading technical teams in data-intensive industries (sports betting, trading, fintech, etc.)Strong Python development skills, with the ability to mentor and lead by exampleExpertise in data engineering, managing large datasets, and building scalable, low-latency systemsSolid understanding of SDLC, quality assurance, and agile project management practicesStrong financial acumen for managing budgets and driving technology projectsExcellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Skills and Experience:
