The Role

The Business Intelligence team at T&P aims to leverage data for efficiency and strategic improvement by automating data pipelines, integrating data sources, and creating smart reporting solutions, fostering a performance-driven marketing approach.

As a Business Intelligence Director, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand client technology, define needs and business rules, and develop data models that underpin reports, dashboards, and data products for analysis and decision-making.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, leading data engineering and BI analysts through all project phases, translating business needs into technical requirements, and implementing lasting operational changes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build relationships with clients to understand their capabilities, needs, and goals.
  2. Adopt a solutions-focused, collaborative approach to improve processes.
  3. Design and oversee data pipelines ensuring accurate data flow from sources to models.
  4. Collaborate with teams to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
  5. Define reporting, analysis, and consumption requirements for data solutions.
  6. Establish business rules and processes for data quality assurance.
  7. Utilize measurement frameworks and KPIs to assess success and enhance data outputs.
  8. Work with technical teams to test and troubleshoot reports and dashboards.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Datorama, Google Looker.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or BigQuery.
  • Understanding of marketing and business performance decision-making.
  • Motivation for learning and tackling new challenges.
  • Proven ability to improve processes, technology, or data models.
  • Strong communication skills to motivate and unify teams.
