Job Title: BI Developer

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + benefits

Location: Birmingham area (1 day p/w in office)

Tech: Azure, Power BI (DAX, modelling, visualisation), SQL, ETL

Use your skills to transform lives, not just dashboards!

We’re working with a purpose-driven healthcare organisation that supports thousands of people across the UK every day, many of whom rely on bespoke, compassionate care to live fulfilling, independent lives. The work they do changes lives. And now they’re investing heavily in data, digital and technology to expand that impact even further.

They’re hiring a BI Developer to join their transformation journey, helping to simplify processes, provide insight at scale, and ultimately enable better, more personalised care.

Why this role matters

Data is at the heart of how this organisation plans to reach the next level. Your work will directly influence how frontline and operational teams understand performance, spot trends, and make faster, smarter decisions. This is about more than reporting KPIs, it’s about giving people the tools to deliver better care.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Building clear, insightful dashboards in tools like Power BI
  • Collaborating with clinical, operations, and digital leaders to define reporting needs
  • Creating robust data models that ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Managing ETL pipelines (Azure-based environment)
  • Supporting the overall data literacy of the business

You’ll work closely with a forward-thinking Head of BI, alongside a supportive internal team including architects, developers and analysts, all of whom are passionate about building modern systems that make a difference.

    We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong Power BI experience (DAX, data visualisation, modelling)
  • Is confident writing and optimising SQL
  • Understands ETL processes and Azure data tools
  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Cares deeply about using data for positive impact
  • Bonus if you’ve used Alteryx, or enjoy upskilling users and embedding new tools.
