Job Description

As a leading 3rd Party Logistics Provider, Information Technology is a critical part of our strategy and operation.  We are searching for Business Intelligence and Data Architect to join our team.  In addition to possessing first class communication skills and a collaborative ‘can do’ approach the successful candidate will undertake the responsibilities of:

Head a team of Business Intelligence & Data Platform Specialists across multiple locations.
Responsible for the operation of a group wide centre of excellence providing BI and Data Platform services to multiple business units.
Review working process and methodologies to ensure a flexible robust solution is maintained
Actively develop team to ensure that work is carried out to agreed standards and methodologies.
Escalation point for internal queries
Detailed work planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications

Strong management background with experience of building and managing high performing technical teams
Strong background in Business Intelligence & Data Platform, able to drive change and lead a group wide data transformation program.
Advanced knowledge of data warehousing and modelling principles
Data visualisation and reporting
Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL / SSIS / SSRS / SSAS / PowerBI / Azure
Great people management skills, ability to recruit, develop and coach team members
Fosters team spirit and champions cultural change
Develops people with talent.
Excellent communication skills essential as is the ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
Self starting attitude and positive approach to work.
Structured way of working and methodical, collaborative approach.
Proactive time management required and adherence to project management procedures often managing multiple projects concurrently
Appreciation of project management procedures.
Ability to influence stakeholders.
