Business Intelligence AnalystLocation: Eastleigh, Hampshire - Hybrid WorkingHybrid: 3 Days in Office / 2 Days WFH per weekSalary: £40k - £45k DOE + Bonus + BenefitsDeerfoot Recruitment is supporting a respected organisation on the South Coast in the search for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional to play a key role in shaping a data-driven culture and supporting strategic and operational decision-making through impactful data insights.The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for converting complex data into actionable insights, creating clear and intuitive reports and dashboards, and ensuring stakeholders across the organisation have access to accurate, timely information. The successful candidate will collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver tailored data solutions, enhance reporting processes, and support continuous improvement across the business.Key Responsibilities:Develop intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other BI tools to support key business functions.Conduct in-depth data analysis to inform strategic decisions and drive operational improvements.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions aligned with business objectives.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting outputs, adhering to data governance and quality standards.Work with IT and Data Engineering teams to maintain robust data pipelines and optimise data models for reporting performance.Present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, promoting evidence-based decision-making.About You:Proven experience in a BI Analyst or similar analytical role, ideally in a commercial or customer-focused environment.Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, and advanced SQL querying for data analysis and reporting.Experience in data modelling, relational databases, and advanced Excel.Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (desirable).Strong understanding of data governance, quality standards, and GDPR compliance.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences.Experience with Microsoft Azure data services and data pipeline optimisation (desirable).Rewards & Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-related bonusBespoke induction and ongoing trainingEnhanced family leave and life insuranceHealthcare cash planCompany pension scheme23 days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing with serviceStaff discounts and additional perksThis is a hybrid position based in Eastleigh, near Southampton.
