Due to the location of our client, you will need access to your own vehicle.

The Business Analyst plays a key role in optimising IT systems, financial processes and data analytics within Operations. This role focuses on enhancing system integrations, automating reporting and improving business intelligence to drive operational and financial efficiency. The analyst will work closely with IT, Finance and Operations teams to identify business needs, streamline workflows and support digital transformation initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance ERP, WMS and WAP.

  • Identify and implement automation solutions to streamline reporting, data reconciliation and financial processes.

  • Support system upgrades, integrations and testing to ensure seamless operations across departments.

  • Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.

  • Develop real-time dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to track operational and financial performance.

  • Extract and analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for cost optimisation.

  • Work with Finance and Operations teams to define KPIs, metrics and forecasting models.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across IT and financial platforms.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse and document business requirements.

  • Assist in translating business needs into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with IT capabilities.

  • Support training and user adoption for new systems and process changes.

  • Act as a liaison between IT, Finance and Operations to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, IT systems or process optimisation.

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics or supply chain operations is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP and WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).

  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau or other analytics tools.

  • Experience with automation tools (RPA, Python, or workflow automation platforms).

  • Understanding of finance and accounting systems within a logistics environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to translate complex IT and data requirements into actionable business solutions.

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
