Tenders and Contracts Administrator

Here at Peopleforce Recruitment we are excited to be partnered with a global leader within the healthcare world, hiring for a Tenders and Contracts Administrator. This role would be based at their head office in Maidenhead on an initial 12 month contract, with the view to becoming permanent further on down the line.

We are looking for someone who has at least a years experience in dealing with the administration of contracts/tenders within the healthcare industry. This would be working in a small team of 4, providing direct support to the Tenders and Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation of tenders as and when requested

  • Calculating and sending out tender documents received, ensuring this is done in a timely basis

  • Updating product prices on internal systems

  • Following up and making sure that price/contract proposals are approved

  • Completing and submitting quotation/service contract documents within deadlines

  • Advising the Tenders Manager of any process/system issues, following up on these and ensuring they get resolved

  • Keep on top of maintaining tender calendars and also the contracts database, including noting when tenders are submitted, extended and awarded

  • Checking email inbox on a daily basis

    Key Requirements

  • NHS/Healthcare experience within this line of work

  • Experience in a tenders/contracts admin role

  • Experience in meeting tight deadlines

  • Good computer skills; MS Office, SAP data warehouse/Cognos preferred

  • Can confidently communicate with different level stakeholders

  • Good Maths and Literacy skills

  • Strong analytical skills
