We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Asset Data Manager to join our dynamic AIW/CVL team at Pontypridd, 35 hrs per week. Hybrid working with approximately 3 days a week from the office.

In this role, you will oversee the provision and assurance of CVL asset data systems, ensuring these systems are correctly defined, and have sufficient capacity and capability to support the AIW Infrastructure Management team, ensuring all systems are available to meet internal and external customer requirements, managing service and data-related risks in accordance with Asset Information's governance framework. Identify and implement service and capability improvements and share data management best practices with the team and key stakeholders.

This role offers you the unique opportunity to work on currently the biggest investment for Transport Infrastructure in Wales.

What You'll Do:
Lead the Asset Data team to achieve business objectives and key performance measures.
Manage and distribute asset-related data for internal and external use.
Collaborate with senior managers for unified asset data management and quality KPIs.
Oversee CVL asset data management to support systems and processes.
Develop an assurance framework and KPIs in line with governance structures.
Identify and mitigate risks related to asset data quality and management.
Work with stakeholders to assess future asset data needs and impacts.
Monitor and improve the effectiveness of asset data management.
Benchmark data management and implement best practices across teams.
Support data quality improvement initiatives with resources and expertise.
