As Information Asset Register Lead, you will need to collaborate with the Head of Data Management and the Data Governance Manager to assure data quality, compliance, and accessibility. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in educating other team members on the utilization of Information Asset Register and in shaping the evolution of data governance strategies and policies.What you’ll be doing as an Information Asset Register Lead

  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive catalogue of all data sources within the organisation using Azure Purview
  • Classify data based on its information type, sensitivity, quality and business value
  • Work with IT and security teams to set up appropriate access controls and monitor data usage to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including data owners, data stewards, IT teams and business units
  • Provide training and support to other users of Azure Purview in the organisation
  • Enforce data governance policies by setting up automated data validation and policy enforcement in Azure Purview
