About Us
One team. Global challenges. Infinite opportunities. At Viasat, we're on a mission to deliver connections with the capacity to change the world. For more than 35 years, Viasat has helped shape how consumers, businesses, governments, and militaries around the globe communicate. We're looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.

What You'll Do
The Data Led Sales team is a central function within the Product Management division. We build software tools to help the sales teams in the business units sell Viasat services more effectively. We work closely with front line sales teams to understand the sales cycle and build automated solutions that apply automation, big-data, and new analytics. These solutions help the sales teams to understand, anticipate and respond to customer needs effectively and ultimately grow and sustain revenue for the business units. We also partner with a wide range of other teams across the business (in particular with Product Management, Commercial, Data Engineering, Analytics, IT, Platforms & Networks) in order to get a deep understanding of our products and services, and then to build solutions which are seamlessly and effectively integrated into the organizations systems and processes.

The team has a variety of skills and experience in technical domains such as Software development, Automation, Data-pipeline-modelling, IT project management, and Data visualisation. We also pride ourselves on our close integration with non-technical / non-data teams as our success comes from effectively working with multiple functional teams.

This role is to help us scale these tools and take them to the next level of impact and maturity across the business. This will be a fast-moving role and the ideal candidate would be able to build out new tools quickly while ensuring data quality assurance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a team with a start-up mentality but with the mandate and resources to truly transform how the organisation uses data to drive value.
