Analytics Engineer

Remote - 1 day a month in the office

Up to £67k plus Car Allowance and benefits.

Our leading telecommunications client is looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join their dynamic team working on a new Product. You'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that drives their analytics and reporting, ensuring they have the insights they need to deliver a fantastic experience for their members.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data.
• Build and maintain efficient data warehouses and data marts to support business needs.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of our data through monitoring and alerting.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Proactively identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity.
• Document and communicate data processes and procedures for knowledge sharing and maintainability.

What you'll bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience Data experience with at least 3 as an Analytics Engineer.
• Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of relational databases. Python also a plus.
• Proven experience with ETL tools and technologies.
• Experience in data warehousing, data modelling, and dimensional modelling techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
