SRG are working with an innovative renewable chemicals manufacturer based near Falkirk who are predicted to play a massive part in the future of Scotland's circular bioeconomy and journey towards Net Zero. We are delighted to assist in their search for a lab technician to join their analytical chemistry laboratory on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a laboratory technician you will work as part of the production operations team to support on all analysis within the manufacturing process. This involves analytical testing of all materials going through the site from raw materials to finished product, to cGMP standards. As the laboratory technician you will also be responsible for collating data and maintaining data quality. The other key aspect of this role is general lab maintenance (stock control, solution prep, etc.).

The Right Person

To be successful in this role you will;

Have industrial experience in an analytical chemistry lab
Have knowledge of, and experience with, analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC & Karl Fischer Titration
Have experience working in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP)Knowledge/experience in microbiological techniques would also be desirable but not essential.
