About the Role

You will be joining the Business Development team to launch a new category of sellers and will play a pivotal role in building TILT. You'll help take our company from 0 → 1 and since we are still in our early stages, this will be an open playground for you to produce high-impact work. Primarily, you will lead the acquisition of new partners to join our platform.

What You'll Be Doing

On our Business Development team, you will focus on outbound prospecting and you'll spend a lot of time speaking with prospects. Your main responsibility will be lead generation and moving prospects through the funnel.

Responsibilities (0-3 months)

  • Become an expert on Tilt and be able to masterfully articulate our vision and product

  • Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting

  • Manage a high volume of outreach with a strategy for prioritization of your targets and time

  • Create personalized and impactful messaging to successfully convert prospects

  • Use Hubspot and other internal tools to properly track all activities and ensure data accuracy

Responsibilities (3+ months)

  • Manage the full-sales cycle from prospecting to closing

  • Collaborate effectively and engage with various teams across the business

  • Contribute to the building and scaling of the business development process at Tilt

What We're Looking For

  • Up to date with trends in tech and fashion

  • Highly self-motivated and able to autonomously execute

  • Positive attitude with a drive to win

  • Excellent problem-solving skills; break complex problems into smaller ones

  • Exceptional ability to articulate thoughts

  • Can execute projects at a crazy pace with utmost quality

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, experience as an SDR/BDR is an asset

  • Track record of achieving outstanding results

  • Experience working in partnerships at other marketplaces is an asset

  • Experience with Hubspot is a nice to have
