Veeqo (veeqo.com) — a startup which was acquired byAmazon in 2021 — is Amazon’s recommended multichannel inventory andshipping solution for SMB sellers. Within only one yearpost-acquisition, Veeqo carried an S-Team goal and publiclylaunched at Accelerate 2022. Our vision is to become the backoffice hub for SMB ecommerce sellers, for both their on-Amazon andoff-Amazon business. We help sellers manage fulfillment operationsacross all their online stores, and ship orders to customers at thelowest cost and in the fastest possible time. We are looking for anexperienced Business Intelligence Engineer to play a pivotal rolein owning complex analytics and serving as a team lead for BIEs andBAs on the team to help drive the growth of Veeqo. Key jobresponsibilities As a Head of Business Intelligence, you will beresponsible for leading and mentoring a team of businessintelligence engineers and business analysts to deliverhigh-quality work, ensuring business needs are effectivelycommunicated and met. You will be responsible for conducting dataanalysis and deep dives to determine actionable insights, trends,and patterns to help inform and drive decision-making. You willcollaborate with various teams across Veeqo, including Product,Marketing, Sales, Seller Support, and Finance to understand theirneeds and provide business analytic solutions and recommendations.You will be managing & prioritizing multiple projectssimultaneously across the team, ensuring that they align withVeeqo’s strategic priorities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1. Experienceprogramming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) datasets 2. Experience with theory and practice of design ofexperiments and statistical analysis of results 3. Experience inscripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills. 4.Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, datascience, machine learning and data mining 5. Experience workingdirectly with business stakeholders to translate between data andbusiness needs 6. Experience with SQL 7. Experience with datavisualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools 8.Experience in the data/BI space PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to seniorleadership 2.
