About theRole As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will rapidly design,build, and deploy machine learning forecasting and recommendationmodels that directly reduce waste and optimise supply chainefficiency through accurate prediction of customer behavior andpreferences. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams toimplement data-driven solutions that enhance customer experienceand optimise our supply chain processes. This is a uniqueopportunity to contribute to a mission-driven company on afixed-term basis, with the potential for future opportunities. KeyResponsibilities ️ - Develop cutting-edge machine learning modelsto enhance operational efficiency and improve the customerexperience. - Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers,and product managers to integrate ML solutions into our tech stack.- Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights andpredictive analytics. - Continuously evaluate and improve modelperformance through rigorous testing and validation. - Stay updatedwith the latest industry trends to ensure our ML techniques remainat the forefront. - Document processes, methodologies, and findingsfor internal knowledge sharing. Qualifications and Skills Provenexperience in developing and deploying machine learning models in acommercial setting. Familiarity with LightFM and recommender systemdeployment at scale. Experience with cloud-based ML platforms andtools (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Strong problem-solvingabilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills,capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technicalstakeholders. Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, andbig data technologies.
