This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys building modern BI solutions and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of data and analytics within a growing business.

We’re recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join an organisation that is genuinely investing in its data capability, modern technology stack and long-term analytics strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, influence decision making across the business and help drive the transition into a Microsoft Fabric environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong technical BI expertise with commercial thinking. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Power BI solutions, developing scalable semantic models and transforming complex datasets into meaningful, actionable insight for stakeholders across the organisation.

The position offers a high level of visibility within the business and the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders to improve reporting, analytics and self-service BI capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Develop scalable semantic models using best practice data modelling techniques
  • Create advanced DAX measures and calculations
  • Work with SQL and modern Microsoft data technologies
  • Support the business as it continues its transition into a Microsoft Fabric environment
  • Deliver insight-led reporting that supports strategic and operational decision making
  • Drive best practice across reporting, visualisation and BI development

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards and semantic models
  • Advanced DAX and solid SQL capability
  • Strong understanding of data modelling principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics platforms
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insight

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 dependent on level of experience + benefits (including profit-related pay, competitive pension scheme, life insurance and flexible working)

Location: Hybrid working (2 onsite days per week - Birmingham HQ)

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with ambitious growth plans, a collaborative culture and a real commitment to modernising its data and analytics function.
