Are you a strategic supply chain professional with a passion for logistics and production planning? Our client, a leading manufacturer with a strong UK footprint, is seeking a Planning & Logistics Manager to drive operational efficiency, lead a high-performing team, and ensure optimal inventory, transport, and distribution performance.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and manage end-to-end supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for capacity planning, logistics strategy, and driving improvements across planning systems and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute robust capacity forecasting and production planning.
  • Lead logistics operations, including warehousing, transport, and third-party supplier management.
  • Align supply strategies with commercial and operational goals.
  • Continuously improve planning tools, inventory control, and logistics KPIs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across national and international logistics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Contracts, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Provide insightful reporting to senior leadership using ERP systems and data analytics.
  • Build and mentor a dynamic team, embedding best practice and continuous improvement.

  • Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or planning management.
  • ERP/planning software knowledge within a manufacturing setting an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.
