What You’ll Tackle
Leading a new in-house Data Engineering function focused on Fabric integrationDesigning and evolving robust architectures using Fabric components—Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, Real-Time Analytics & PipelinesBuilding scalable, cloud-first data models tailored to retail operations and customer intelligenceDriving end-to-end development across Azure and Microsoft Fabric environmentsManaging technical delivery across cross-functional teams and third-party collaboratorsEmbedding CI/CD processes and modern Agile workflows into data deliveryIdentifying opportunities for Fabric optimisation and enabling advanced analytics capabilitiesExperience:
Solid experience architecting and delivering solutions using Microsoft FabricProven leadership in growing and mentoring high-performing data teamsAdvanced knowledge of data integration strategies (CDC, APIs, ELT) and fabric-native toolsStrong understanding of Power BI, Synapse, and Dynamics 365 integrationExperience maintaining cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)Hands-on proficiency with SQL Server, version control, and data lifecycle managementThis is not just a tech role—it’s a chance to lead the retail data transformation from inside one of the UK’s most forward-thinking environments.
