The focus of this role is to integrate existing and open-source software and hardware to deliver these innovative services. This includes building and maintaining automated data pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure and creating digital applications using modern analytics and software engineering practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Full Stack activities including but not limited to ingestion and storage of data, data manipulation, UI development and API development.
  • Experience in deploying to a cloud environment - preferably Azure - using a variety of services (IoT Hub, Azure Functions etc.)
  • Strong skills in Python and at least one other programming language (C++, JavaScript, .NET, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of SQL, Bash, YAML, Docker, Git, and CI/CD Tools.
  • Comfortable with IoT Devices; showing the ability to understand and implement device and connectivity security and have experience in managing data from remote devices through connections to data stores.
  • Experience in identifying and deploying cyber security measures.
  • Competent in API testing and automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - can articulate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Innovative problem solvers, who are good communicators, self-motivated and are excited and comfortable in dealing with uncertainty.

What's In It For You

  • First of all, a great company to work for!
  • Work on cutting-edge IoT and data-driven technology
  • Opportunity to shape and influence technical direction
  • Exposure to modern cloud platforms, tools and frameworks
  • A collaborative and supportive culture
  • The chance to work on projects that have tangible, real-world impact

Where to Advertise Data Science Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise data science jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, communities and channels that actually reach senior and lead data science talent. Data science spans a broad and often misunderstood spectrum — from statistical modelling and experimental design through to machine learning engineering, product analytics and AI research. The strongest candidates identify firmly with specific subdisciplines and are frustrated by adverts that conflate data scientist with data analyst, business intelligence developer or machine learning engineer. General job boards produce high application volumes for data roles but consistently fail to match specialist data science profiles with the right opportunities. This guide, published by DataScienceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise data science roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
