Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing business to recruit a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a key leadership role responsible for driving financial control, reporting, compliance, business partnering and commercial decision support across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional looking to play a pivotal role within a dynamic and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process and deliver accurate management accounts.
• Produce budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and treasury management.
• Manage statutory accounts, audit processes, VAT and tax compliance.
• Lead and develop the finance team, driving high performance and continuous improvement.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to improve profitability and business performance.
• Develop and enhance reporting through Power BI, KPIs and finance analytics.
• Drive process improvements, financial controls and the practical use of AI tools within finance.

About You:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience within a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and audit.
• Experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems knowledge.
• Practical Power BI experience is highly desirable.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
