Finance Business Partner (3:2)

I'm exclusively partnering with a growing c.£50m PE-backed business in Warrington that is undergoing a significant period of transformation. This is an opportunity for an ambitious Finance Business Partner to join a business where finance is at the heart of decision-making and where data drives everything.

Working directly with a highly commercial CFO who is passionate about data warehousing, Power BI, AI, automation and systems development, you'll play a key role in helping the business evolve into a truly data-led organisation.

This is far more than a traditional business partnering role.

You'll work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Business Unit Directors, helping to understand what is really driving performance across the business. From pricing and margin analysis to pipeline reporting and commercial decision support, you'll be a trusted advisor who can turn data into meaningful insight.

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, proactive and commercially minded. Someone who brings their own ideas, challenges the status quo and asks, "What should we be measuring? What do we need to know?" rather than simply reporting what has already happened.

Key Focus Areas:
- Commercial business partnering across multiple business units
- Pricing, margin and profitability analysis
- Sales pipeline and performance reporting
- Development of dashboards, KPIs and management information
- Power BI, systems and data-led decision support
- Budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
- Working alongside the CFO on AI, automation and reporting initiatives

As the business continues its transformation journey, we're looking for someone who is hands-on and adaptable. While this is a commercially focused position, there may be occasions where you'll support core finance and month-end activities in the short term as the function evolves.

About You:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A
- Strong analytical and data skills
- Power BI experience highly desirable
- Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, inquisitive and comfortable operating in a changing environment
- Keen to drive improvement rather than maintain the status quo
