Finance Analyst - (Data Analytics - Programming)

Arthur are supporting a UK Insurer looking to hire a highly Analytical Finance Analyst who is able to to code, using either R & Python. 

The role will support the broad Finance Operations of the organisation, involved in multiple improvement & documentation projects.

Main Responsibilities include, assisting the team with:
•Maintaining/monitoring the regular financial processes
• Monthly management account pack production, to support business decisions
• Statutory reporting, including managing the external audit process
• Regulatory and branch reporting (including Solvency II)
• Preparation and submission of tax returns
• Ad hoc projects as required

Skills required:
• Education or Work Experience within Financial Services / Insurance and/or Accounting & Finance
• Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills, with experience in Coding through R & Python
• Strong IT skills, with good programming skills or a keen interest in developing such skills
• Ability to develop good working relationships across all levels of seniority
• Strong presentation skills - both written & oral
