Superior Recruitment are working with wholesale distributors of motor vehicle components who are looking for an Expeditor & Data Analyst role in Aberdeen, full training provided.

Job description

To help in the control and analysis of company stock, stock levels and back orders

• To liaise with suppliers to get regular back order updates
  
  
• To reconcile and control company supplier back orders
  
  
• To liaise with branches on their back order issues both internal and external
  
  
• To highlight parts to the product team where parts are in short supply
  
  
• To produce weekly and monthly summaries of back order situation
  
  
• To liaise with suppliers on when parts will be available
  
  
• To control the swap over of “changed” part numbers
  
  
• To reconcile internal company back orders on a regular basis
  
  
• To help in the control of stock around the company
  
  
• To help in the maintenance of databases within the stock control process
  
  
• To do any other jobs as required by stock control team, stock office manager or by a director
  
  Skills required
  
  
• A good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel
  
  
• Good numerical skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  
  
• Knowledge of vehicles beneficial (but not essential)
  
  
• Knowledge of mySQL an advantage (but not essential)
  
  
• Willingness to learn and develop within the job role
