This is a permanent, full-time role based on a hybrid model (home, plus offices in Solihull, Hook, or London), offering £75,000 to £110,000 plus benefits.

You'll work at the intersection of innovation, architecture, and commercial strategy, partnering with senior government leaders and global technology partners to craft solutions that genuinely improve citizen outcomes.

  • Lead solution design for strategic public sector bids, embedding AI, cloud, and data capabilities to drive measurable improvements in service delivery
  • Engage and influence at CXO and Director level, shaping opportunities and driving user-centric problem-solving from concept through to bid submission
  • Collaborate with leading technology partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google, ServiceNow) and delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity, ethical AI practices, and commercial viability
Preferred Requirements

  • Strong understanding of government digital, data, and AI strategies (GDS, CDDO, NHS, MoD, or international equivalents)
  • Demonstrated ability to engage confidently at executive level, shaping opportunities alongside senior stakeholders
  • Deep technical curiosity combined with commercial awareness - you balance innovation with practical delivery and measurable value
  • Commitment to responsible and ethical AI, with an understanding of how emerging technologies reshape service delivery across domains
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline
  • Professional certification in solution architecture, cloud platforms, or data governance (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent)
  • Background in public sector digital transformation, government technology programmes, or regulated environments
