Data & Insights Analyst - 12 month FTC.

£50,000 - £55,000

This role sits at the heart of finance partnering and commercial decision making, offering the opportunity to shape how data and insight are used across a complex organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, translating financial and operational data into clear insight that influences planning, performance, and future strategy.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis and insight to support planning, forecasting, and performance management
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear, commercially focused recommendations
  • Design and develop automated reporting and dashboards to improve visibility of business performance
  • Build and maintain models to forecast future outcomes and support reforecasting activity
  • Contribute to data and reporting transformation initiatives across finance
  • Coach and support colleagues, helping to build data and analytics capability within the team

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience delivering financial data and performance insight
  • Advanced capability with data analysis and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI, or equivalent platforms
  • Proven ability to build forecasting models and reporting solutions that drive decision making
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to financial and non-financial audiences
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with experience supporting others to develop data capability
