  • Collaborate with data platform teams on governance, quality, lineage, and optimisation
  • Consult with squads on physical data modelling
  • Contribute to metadata and data catalog initiatives to improve discoverability and reuse

Core Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in enterprise data architecture in a complex organisation
  • Expertise in Kimball and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies
  • Strong grasp of data modelling, metadata, and governance knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Azure)
  • Ability to define and drive architecture principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Retail industry experience is a bonus but not a deal breaker

At ASDA, you’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values innovation, inclusivity, and continuous learning. We offer great benefits and the chance to make a real impact.

We welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time hours, flexible working arrangements, or job share opportunities.
