Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a leading consultancy on a 24-month contract. You will drive the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-wide data architecture, ensuring data assets are resilient, scalable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

You will work with cross-functional teams to define future-state data capabilities, integrate systems, and support data governance initiatives that enable strategic organisational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain enterprise-level conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Define and evolve enterprise data architecture standards, principles, patterns, and best practices
Collaborate with product teams and solution architects to design integrated, end-to-end data flows
Maintain enterprise data dictionaries, taxonomies, and metadata repositories
Perform oversight and quality assurance on data architecture artefacts and reverse-engineered data structures
Provide data architecture input into enterprise and solution architecture to ensure consistent outcomes across programmesSkills and Experience:

Hands-on experience in enterprise-level data modelling using tools such as Erwin, Solidatus, Safyr, ABACUS, or Archi
Strong analytical, logical, and lateral thinking skills to solve complex data challenges
Knowledge of relational, dimensional, and enterprise modelling concepts, including cloud and big data environments
Experience with SQL, data analytics platforms, APIs, and database technologies
Familiarity with Software Delivery Lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall) and software engineering principles
Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical senior stakeholdersPackage:
