Robert Half has partnered exclusively with a growing professional services organisation seeking a talentedData Analyst to join their expanding data and technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with experience in Power BI, SQL, and data modelling to play a key role in driving business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

Please note this role is 5 days a week onsite in Leeds city centre during probation. After probation you have the option to work from home 1 day a week.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making across the business. You'll work closely with stakeholders to develop meaningful insights, create impactful dashboards, and contribute to the ongoing development of data and reporting solutions.

This role also offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies including Microsoft Power Platform, Azure data services, and Azure AI Foundry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

  • Extract, transform, and analyse data using SQL.

  • Develop and maintain robust data models and reporting structures.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.

  • Support the development of low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Utilise Azure AI Foundry and Azure data services to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy.

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within business datasets.

  • Maintain documentation and reporting standards.

About You
  • Experience with Power BI, including reporting, DAX, and data modelling.

  • Strong SQL skills, including querying, data transformation, and optimisation.

  • Understanding of data modelling principles, including star schema and data warehousing concepts.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform or other low-code technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Excel capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
